Beşiktaş men’s basketball team has signed American guard Christopher Franklin Lofton (born 1986 in Maysville, Kentucky) to a one-year deal. The Eagles landed the high-scoring player, who put up 61 points for the Turkish team Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi in a win against CASA TED Kolejliler on 25 April 2009, from the Spanish ACB League side Lagun Aro GBC.
