With a starting five of Can, Muratcan, Minard, Markota  and Vidmar, the Eagles played tenacious defense in the first quarter and were up 11-8. They continued to keep their foot on the pedal in the following stanzas to take a 49-42 lead into the fourth quarter. However, the host Banvit managed to tie the scores in the dying minutes and hit a last-second three-pointer that allowed them to escape with a narrow victory. Markota led Beşiktaş with 18 points.
