Istanbul’s Black Eagles started their EHF Cup group game at the Haldun Alagas determined to make it two wins in a row and stayed close to their visitors throughout the first half, trailing only 10-9 at the breather.
 
When the Group D leadingMagdeburgtightened up on defence, Beşiktaş struggled to find the net in the second half as the German team gradually took over with a series of unanswered goals, on their way to an impressive away victory.      
 
Viktor Ladyko, Tolga Özbahar and Ramazan Döne scored four goals a apiece for the Eagles.
