Playing without Curtis Jerrells, who returned to US, the Eagles started their Euroleague home game at Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall with a lineup of Christopher, Vidmar, Markota, Can Akın and Minard. 
They failed to hit their outside shots in the first half and were down 38-30 at the break. Beşiktaş tried hard to narrow the gap in the following quarters, but last season’s Euroleague champions withstood all their comeback attempts to walk away with a double-digit victory. With 8 games played, the Eagles are still searching for their first Top 16 win. Christopher and Vidmar scored 13 points each for Beşiktaş while Minard and Falker both added 11 of their own.
