Last season’s Cup holders Beşiktaş started the semifinal defensively solid and carried a 16-14 lead into the second quarter. However, Fenerbahçe Ülker began to dominate the game in the second stanza as they pulled ahead, 39-25, at the break. The Eagles managed to lower the deficit to single digits, 52-45, after three quarters, but their arch rivals refused to let them any closer in the final frame, en route to the Final. Serhat Çetin and Vidmar scored 13 points each for Beşiktaş.
