After a 23th minute goal from Holmen put Büyükşehir in front, the Eagles wasted no time to equalise as Sivok beat the keeper with a well-placed header off an Oğuzhan corner-kick 5 minutes later. The sides were on level terms at the interval.   
 
With 10 minutes into the second half, Olcay converted Almedia’s back-heel pass and gave Beşiktaş a 2-1 lead, but Doka responded for the stubborn visitors within minutes, firing a bullet from outside box. In remainder of the game, the Eagles pushed all out for the winner only to settle for a point in the end. Had they won tonight, the Black and Whites would climb to the top of the table.
