“Unlike Istanbul which is covered with snow these days, the weather in Antalya is great and does not hamper our training in any way. Despite a sluggish start, we are only three points behind the league leaders, and this winter break camp will enable us to be in better shape for the season's second half. My knee injury is fully recovered, but I still need a bit more time to regain my earlier form. The way the things are going right now, I will be able to start within a couple of weeks. In contrast to last season, the young players mixed well with the vets this year. As a veteran, I enjoy sharing my experiences with them. I still have 1.5 years left on my contract, and I am happy where I am.”
