Dear Beşiktaş Fans,

Before I go any further, I wish each one of you a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year. I am confident that 2013 will be a better year for Beşiktaş and will bring us closer to realizing our goals.    
 
The restructuring of club operations initiated by our management has already started to bear its fruits and is also setting a good example for other Turkish clubs to follow. On the other hand, our new stadium project has been gaining momentum every other day. Together with your support, we will restore Beşiktaş’s former glory in very near future.      
 
By finishing the first half among the top three, our football team have shown everyone that they are a real contender this season. To your enjoyment, I am sure this fast-paced, and exciting team have more to offer in season’s second half.
 
So far, our club’s other teams have been equally impressive in their fields. While our four-title holder men’s basketball team have qualified for the EuroLeague Last 16, Beşiktaş Men’s Handball has been on fire, taking out team after team in the prestigious EHF Cup. My congratulations go to all coaches, players and fans involved, without whom none of these achievements would be possible.
