With a starting lineup of Vidmar, Jerrells, Christopher, Muratcan and Markota, the Eagles traded baskets throughout the opening quarter and were tied at 18-18 going into the second. The visiting Germans gained the upper-hand in the second stanza and were leading 42-36 at the break.
Beşiktaş started the second half on fire, outscoring their visitors 26-12 to take a 62-54 lead after three periods of play. They turned up the heat even further in the fourth quarter and walked away with a double-digit win, which sent them to the Euroleague Top-16 for the first time in Club’s history. Christopher scored a game-high 20 points for the Eagles while Jerrells added 17.
