Eagles fall in Belgrade

Partizan Belgrade 87-72 Beşiktaş JK

Due to early foul trouble of their starters and a bunch of unforced turnovers, the Eagles looked real sloppy in the first half and were down 51-43 at the break.  Beşiktaş tightened up defensively in the third quarter and managed to trim Partizan's lead to five points, 70-65, going into the fourth, but the young Serbians regained control in the final stanza to win their first Euroleague game of the season. Curtis Jerrells led the Eagles with a game-high 20 points, while Marcota poured in 16. The Eagles have now a 3-3 record and are third in Group D.
