“Due to the poor results we’ve been getting lately, our Manager Aybaba has decided to run an emergency training camp here in Antalya. He also asked us to bring our families along. This is something new for me, but it has provided a positive atmosphere for the team. In our recent matches, we fought real hard but didn’t achieve the results we wanted. We need to shake off this slump and get back on tract as soon as we can. Our upcoming match against Trabzonspor will be a serious test for us in this respect. There are a lot of young players on the team, and I am trying to pass my experiences to them. In return, they help me adapt to the Turkish way of living. Just like in Spain, Turks are crazy about football. If the Turkish teams focus more on tactical matters, they can reach to European standards in no time. Istanbul is an extremely energetic city and I love it here, especially the Turkish kebab and baklava,” said the experienced French defender.
