Seasoned central defender signs two-year deal

Born on 17 August1979 in France, Escude began kicking ball at Cannes’ youth system in 1994 and after a one-year senior-level action there, moved to Rennes where he started 4 seasons. Dutch giants Ajax picked him up in 2003, and  two successful seasons later, he was with La Liga side Sevilla for 7 seasons. Escude has made 12 appearances for the French national team.
