Eagles’ foreign stars shined last night

Fernandes: Coming into the game, we badly needed a win, and I am glad everything worked out fine. Before my goal, I didn’t think I was going to dribble past three defenders, but some games the angels are on your side. Quaresma is a great player, and he showed his quality by scoring two goals for us tonight. Now, all think about is our upcoming Cup game.
 
Hilbert: I am happy to be back after a long injury. We looked almost perfect out there tonight because everyone did their part. If we keep on playing like this, we’ll be hard to beat.
 
Quaresma: It was an important game for us because we hadn’t been winning in the League lately. However, we performed well tonight and deserved to win. Being able to contribute with two goals feels good.
