Black Eagles claim their first ever Turkish Cup title by ousting Banvit 78-74 in the final

Beşiktaş started out with a line up of Barış Hersek, Serhat Çetin, Carlos Arroyo, David Hawkins, Mensah-Bonsu and were up 20-18 after the opening quarter, but Banvit came back to take a 42-35 lead at the half. Determined to rewrite the history, the Eagles erased the deficit in the third before edging ahead 58-75 on a three-pointer by Serhat Çetin. They managed to stay in front throughout the final stanza to lift the trophy.
