Former NBA point guard Carlos Arroyo arrives in Istanbul to start his stint with Beşiktaş Milangaz.

Speaking to Beşiktaş TV at the Ataturk airport: ‘When I was offered the deal, I didn’t hesitate much because I knew Beşiktaş was an internationally recognized club with top notch organization. I am here for only one reason, which is to win the league title. I can’t wait to step on that court and make a difference. I am flattered by the fact that so many people here have faith in me. In order not to disappoint them, as a player who plays by heart since the age of five, I’ll give everything I’ve got out there. I invite the fans to come out and see us in action against Efes on Saturday,’ said Arroyo.
