Women’s Volleyball downed in five-set affair

Lady Eagles started the Week 9 clash at the Arena with a lineup consisting of Zülfiye, Olena, Maiko, Yeliz, Özlem, Pınar(L) and battled out to win the hard-fought, first two sets 26-24 and 27-25. But the visitors bounced back to take the next two 25-20 and 25-23 to tie the score and force a tie breaker. Ankaragücü went on to outscore Beşiktaş 15-10 in the deciding set for a much-needed away victory.
