Black Eagles frustrate their Georgian hosts for their fifth straight EuroChallenge victory

Playing with a starting five of David Hawkins, Serhat Çetin, Ersin Dağlı, Zoran Erceg and Can Akın, visiting Beşiktaş had a 21-20 edge after the opening quarter. The tight affair continued in the second, but the Black Eagles managed to stay in front, 39-37, heading into the locker room at the break.  
Armia looked the better side early in the second half, making most of their three-pointers, which helped them take a 56-50 lead into the fourth quarter. However, led by Ersin Dağlı, Black Eagles regained their focus in the final stanza and used Hawkins’ last-second basket to come away with a narrow 77-75 win.  Dağlı was the top scorer for Beşiktaş with 18 points while Hawkins followed him with 17.
