In Week 4 of the Turkish Super League, Beşiktaş posted a 1-0 victory against the visitors Antalyaspor.

The Black Eagles made a blistering start into the game and went ahead after 10 minutes on a penalty kick from Simao, which would stand until end of first half.  Antalyaspor pressed hard for the equaliser in the second half and came close on several occasions, but Beşiktaş defence stood their ground and showed that they were ready for their upcoming Europa League battle against Stoke City.
