Beşiktaş’s young and talented goalkeeper Cenk Gönen shared his thoughts for the upcoming season in an  interview given to BJK TV .

With new additions, we have definitely become a stronger unit. The results of preseason games we played in Austria and Spain proves my point. The postponement of the Super League will give us an extra month to shore up our weakness, but as far I am concerned  we are ready both physically and mentally. Our ongoing competition with Rüştü Reçber has improved my performance because as I have benefitted from his experience. I don’t think we’ll have any problems in goal next season.\"
