Beşiktaş acquired young forward Mustafa Pektemek  from Gençlerbirliği.

Due to his injury, Pektemek (born 11 August 1988 in Akyazı) played only 13 matches in 2010-2011 season but scored 6 goals for the Ankara City side. He also made 27 appearances for the national team, mostly at youth level.
