The Turkish Cup holders Beşiktaş will start their Europa League campaign from the play-off round.

The other two Turkish participants are Bursaspor and Gaziantepspor. While Bursaspor will enter the tournament from the 3rd qualifying round, unseeded Gaziantepspor will be looking to progress beyond the 2nd qualifying round.

2nd Qualifying Round: July 14 and 15, 2011
3rd Qualifying Round: July 28 and August 4, 2011
Play-Off Round: August 18 and 25, 2011
If the Black Eagles go through the play-off round, they get to play in the group stage, which begins on September 15.
