An award ceremony organized by the Beşiktaş fans from Marmara University named “the best of the year.”

The event was held at the University’s Göztepe campus and attended by Beşiktaş Deputy-Chairman and Head of Football Committee Serdal Adalı, Beşiktaş men’s handball team, and Eagles’ Spanish star Guti Fernandez
The ceremony, filled with cheers and enthusiasm, named Serdar Adalı, who was instrumental in bringing a bunch of international superstars to Beşiktaş, the best football director of the year. Guti Fernandez was crowned as the most decorated foreign footballer in Turkey, while Beşiktaş handball team won the most successful team of the year award, and Necip Uysal got picked as the young player of the year.  
In his speech, frequently interrupted by shouts of “ you are the king of transfers” and standing ovations, Mr Adalı said, “This is my first award in my career, I can’t express how prod I am right now. I thank our Chairman and Football Committee Cengiz Zülfikaroğlu for their unwavering support. I wouldn’t be here without them.”  
Guti Fernadez thanked the fans in Turkish and added, “With your support, we are going to win this season’s Turkish Cup, you are the greatest.”
Since Necip Uysal was with the Turkish national team, his award was received by Guti Fernadez.
