The Eagles got off to a flying start and were ahead, 20-10, at half-time, on their way to a 40-25 rout. Turkish internationals İbrahim Demir, Bülent Erkol, Oğuzhan Büyük, Ozan Arifoğlu, Altuğ Taşdemir, Tolga Ozbahar, Ramazan Döne returning from national team training and previously injured Ümit Kırkayak all played in the match.
