Visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball upended cross-town rival Fenerbahçe Ülker in a Beko Turkish League Week 21 battle at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall today  

Starting the game with Serkan, Cevher, Chatman, Kemp and Ogilvy, the Eagles stormed to an early lead  and used back-to-back three-pointers for a 28-19 first-quarter edge. At the outset of the second, while the host struggled to get a shot off, Chatman and Kemp continued to hit from outside as the margin swelled to seventeen points, 36-19. But a late Fenerbahçe rally cut the deficit to thirteen, 51-38 at the intermission.    
The third frame was a busy one for both teams as the home team started to chip away at the lead.. Heading into the final quarter, Fenerbahçe had managed to close the margin to eight, 71-63. The Eagles tried hard to pull away in the fourth, but the host, roared on by its fans, kept coming back time and time again. Nevertheless, thanks to Chatman and Kemp, Beşiktaş Cola Turka managed to put together a last-gasp surge down the stretch to emerge with an impressive 92-84 victory.”
