With goals from Sefa Korkmaz and  Furkan Şeker, Beşiktaş Under-15 team got past neighbours Galatasaray, 2-0, at Fulya Ground today to win the Coca Cola Marmara Region Academy League. 

Although they still have three matches to play, the Eagles took advantage of their nearest rival Fenerbahçe’s 1-1 draw with Sakaryaspor  to stretch the point difference to 9, which guaranteed them a first place finish.  
Manager Kaan Demir was all smiles after the match:
“We really played well today and  beat Galatasaray fair and square. I congratulate all my players for their strong effort and thank our fans who braved the cold weather to support us. I hope we can repeat this performance at the upcoming Turkish Championship in Antalya City as well. Meanwhile, if make the Turkish Cup final, we’ll be able to represent Turkey at the Nike Premier Cup in Hungary so our journey is not over yet.”
