The Lady Eagles made a better start to lead 8-7 and 16- 10 at the technical timeouts, but formidable Ankara City team came back to take the opening set, 25-22. The second set was all Vakıfbank Güneş Sigorta T.T. as it cruised to a 25-8 win. In the third set, the demoralized Beşiktaş trailed 8-4 and 16-11 at the technical timeouts but bounced back to level the scores at 21, only to see the visitors pull ahead, 25-22, in the end for three-set victory.
