After the Eagles’ impressive win over Samsun Basket that sent them to the Turkish Cup semifinals,  Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Coach Aziz Akkaya and forward Melike Bakırcıoğlu held a press conference. 

Aziz Akkaya: We put on a quite show offensively tonight but also let them score 81 points, which have indicated that we’ve got to do a better job of defending our basket. As I said earlier, we want to make the final in this tournament.   
Melike Bakırcıoğlu: We started out well and went on to build a healthy lead but then allowed them to get back into it. You can’t afford to relax too soon in this tournament because all teams are more less equal to each other. Our main goal is here to play the final and hopefully bring home the Turkish Cup.
