“As you all saw tonight, we did everything out there but to score goals. Especially in the second half, we took complete control and pinned them into their own half. We should have crowned tonight’s performance by finding the net at least once. In a word, we deserved to win this one.  
Quaresma just recovered from his injury so I didn’t want to risk him. Despite not being one hundred percent, he did the best he could during his limited time on the pitch. Young Doğukan Pala also put in an impressive performance in his debut. I am more than pleased with the way he played tonight.”
