Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball knocked off Samsun Basket 89-81 at the Gaziantep Karataş Şahinbey Sports Hall today to advance to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. 

The Lady Eagles started strong and led 23-16 by the end of first. Samsun Basket got back into it in the second and went on to pull within 41-40 at the break. The third stanza was all Beşiktaş Cola Turka as the gap widened to 74-56 after three quarters of play. The final frame saw Samsun try hard to cut the deficit, but the Lady Eagles prevailed 89-81 to become the first semifinalist.
