With a third place finish at the nationals, Beşiktaş table tennis reached a milestone on weekend.

The Black Eagles wrapped up the playoffs with 2 wins and a loss and closed out the 2010-11 league season in third place, their best ranking ever. They defeated Avrupa Lefke University and TED Istanbul but lost to Büyükşehir Belediyesi.
Beşiktaş Coach Sabahattin Sabrioğlu was delighted with the result, “Unlike the other teams, we played without any foreign players but still managed to take the third spot, highest 
achievement in our history.”
The team will now take part in 24-Team Turkish Cup to be held between May 19-20.
