Beşiktaş Press Spokesperson and Football Committee Member Prof. Dr. Mete Düren disclosed that the football team’s young goalkeeper will be sidelined for 8 weeks with a broken left finger.

“Our goalkeeper Cenk Gönen had fractured his left little finger in the 15th minute of Beşiktaş’s league fixture against İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor played on Sunday and will undergo surgery next week. He will be out for at least 8 weeks. He is an important player for both the Turkish national team and Beşiktaş , so we will do everything in our power for his speedy recovery,” said the spokesperson.
