The Eagles took charge right from the start and built an 18-12 lead by the end of first half. They maintained their momentum in the second half and fended off a late surge by their visitors to emerge with a 36-27 victory.
The win raised the Black and Whites winning streak to 14 matches as they sit safely atop the table with a perfect record.
