Beşiktaş Deputy Chairman and Football Committee Member Alaattin Aykaç and Palmali Holding Chairman Mübariz Mansimov, asked the fans to contribute more to Beşiktaş .

Appearing live on BJK TV together with Beşiktaş Chairman Yıldırım Demirören and Mübariz Mansimov, Alaattin Aykaç urged the fans to do more to help the club financially, “Coming to our games is not sufficient enough to take this club forward. If our fans want us to be a winner each year, we cannot do it on sheer ticket money and sponsor contributions. They should go out buy our official merchandize and watch BJK TV. In these highly competitive days, we need to tap every source of income we can get our hands on. They must also stay away from counterfeit and pirated goods at all times. 
He also shared his expectations of the season’s second half, “In the first half of the season, due to a series of unexpected injuries, we rarely played with our ideal 11.  But in any case, we should’ve fared much better. Now, with the new additions, we’ll be able to field a much stronger team and expect to narrow the gap with the others starting from tomorrow’s Bucaspor game. I strongly believe this team is going to surprise a lot of critics in Europe as well.  The fans will soon turn their frustration into jubilation because we are going to be unbeatable in the second part of the season.”
According to Palmali Holding Chairman Mübariz Mansimov, clubs as popular as Beşiktaş should always have their own TV channel, from where they can advertise their merchandize and events, “The revenue sources of top European teams are mind boggling. If we are going to compete against them, Beşiktaş fans, regardless of their financial situations, must do their bit to contribute to our club because titles always cost money. ”
