After the match, Beşiktaş Assistant Manager Tayfur Havutçu and the Eagles’s Spanish star Guti, who scored the Black and White’s second goal, shared their thoughts in a press conference:

Tayfur Havutçu: “We are happy with the win. We played against a stubborn side tonight but managed to come on top in the end. I am confidant we will win our remaining matches and qualify from this group.” 
Guti: “We lost our concentration after the third goal and gave away two silly goals, which put the game in danger. This match has shown everyone that even when you are up by three goals, you shouldn’t relax until it is fully over. Since any team can beat anybody in the league, we can reduce the 14-point difference that separates us from the leader.”
