Visitors Beşiktaş men’s handball team edged past Mersin Yenişehir Municipality 27-24 in Week 12 action at the Mersin Yenişehir Municipality Sports Hall on Saturday.

The Eagles got off to blistering start and closed out the first half ahead 19-14. Despite struggling due to a number of 2-minute penalties, the Black and White managed to hold on in the second half to emerge with a 27-25 victory.
With the win, Beşiktaş made it 10 wins in-a-row and remained atop the table with 20 points.
