After their golden set victory over Tent Obrenovac that qualified them for the semifinals of CEV Cup, Head Coach Bülent Karslıoğlu and players Müge Şakar and Sinem Bulut talked to our website:

Bülent Karslıoğlu: It was a hotly-contested and nerve-wrecking game, but we managed to win the end. I thank all my players for giving everything they got out there. Our preparations for the next opponent will start tomorrow. We may add a foreign player to our roster before the next CEV Cup game. If we play like the way we did against the Serbians, there is no reason why we shouldn’t make the finals in this Cup. It takes hard work, determination and a lot of concentration. We have to pass two more rounds to make the finals. We’ll do give best in those matches as well.
Müge Şakar: We avoided the silly mistakes we made in the first match and probably played our best game of the season. We knew we would win if we carried the game to golden set. We watched their past matches and took the necessary steps to prevent them stealing this one, something they did in the first leg. But most importantly, we focused and performed as a real team. The win will be a big boost for our upcoming league matches.
Sinem Bulut: It was a real thriller from start to finish, but we kept our composure and managed to emerge with a win in the end. Now, we are in quarterfinals and must work much harder than before. We want to take the first leg in Istanbul to start the second leg with an advantage.
