In a Week 2 game of the Turkish League, Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball posted a 76-67 victory over the visiting Istanbul University at Akatlar Cola Turka Arena on Sunday.

Istanbul University got off to a hot start and jumped out to a 23-17 lead by the end of first. The Lady Eagles looked better organized in the second quarter as back-to-back buckets by Marques kept them within reach. When the visitors’ offense fizzled near the end, the teams went into the intermission with a 36-36 tie. 
Beşiktaş Cola Turka carried its momentum into the second half and pulled ahead 58-46 after three quarters of play on its way to a 76-67 victory.
