Kayserispor 1 – 0 Beşiktaş

Furkan Özcal scored deep into stoppage time as Kayserispor beat visitors Beşiktaş 1-0 in a Day 10 of the Spor Toto Super League clash at the Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Has Stadium.

The match was refereed by Mustafa Kamil Abitoğlu, and the Eagles enjoyed the backing of a vocal group of travelling fans.
The two sides battled for supremacy in midfield throughout the first half with limited success. Nihat Kahveci and Bobo tried to put the Eagles on scoresheet, but they were frustrated by Kayseri’s resolute defending and the safe hands of goalkeeper Souleymanou Hamidou. The teams took a goalless draw into the dressing room at the break.
The early part of the second half saw the teams playing a cautious football, but as the game rolled on, the Black and White gained control and started putting the pressure on their host’s defence. In search of additional finishers upfront, Beşiktaş brought on Guti, Holosko and Fatih Tekke, who was making his debut for Beşiktaş, for Onur Bayrmoğlu, Fink and Nihat Kahveci.
When everyone thought the match would end in a draw, Furkan Özçal smashed home the winner in stoppage time to deny Beşiktaş a point at Kayseri.
