Beşiktaş Men’s Volleyball Team outscored MEF Schools, 3-2, in its third Teledünya Turkish Cup Group D game played in Tokat City.

The Black Eagles dropped the hotly-contested first set, 26-24, but bounced back to take the second, 25-22, for a 1-1 tie in sets. They continued their dominance in the third as they carried a 25-19 win into the next set. MEF Schools again came up with a strong performance in the fourth, however, edging Beşiktaş, 28-26, to force a fifth and deciding set. The Black and Whites used their experience to capture the tiebreak, 15-13, and the match 3-2 in a dramatic fashion.  
Following their previous victories over Melikgazi and Plevne municipalities which they won by scores of 3-0 and 3-1, the Black and Whites made it three out of three to qualify for the second round of the Turkish Cup.
