After the, Deutsche Bank Skyliners game,  Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball Head Coach Burak Bıyıktay unveiled his team’s future plans:

“Skyliners made the German League final last season so they are not an easy team to beat. They may not have too many star players, but they perform well as a team. Their strength comes from their aggressive defense. But ironically, they shot extremely well tonight; at times we had real trouble to match them. We had to put in extra effort to win this one.
Qualifying for the group stage was our first goal; now we’ve made it, we are aiming for the finals. However, we still have a long way to go and must work hard on our weak points. Let’s not forget, we are new team, and we need time to reach our top form. I am confident all our fans will see a better Beşiktaş on the court in a couple of weeks.   Our bench players were quite productive in this game and played an undeniably important role in our win.   
Now, we have some Turkish Cup games coming up against Galatasaray, Türk Telekom and Oyak Renault and they are all formidable teams. It we want to beat them and advance to the next round, we must play much better and improve on our weak sides. This Turkish Cup tournament is going to be real test for us before the League games start.”
