İbrahim Üzülmez, Guti Hernandez, Ricardo Quaresma have commented CSKA Sofia game.

 
Captain İbrahim Üzülmez: “If we could score earlier, the things would be a lot easier for us because they would stop defending their own half so ferociously and come out more often. I must admit they played flawless defence until the last minute of the match. I believe we also performed well tonight. We did everything right except to score an early goal, but in these types of matches, as long as you win, it doesn’t matter when you score. This weekend, we are travelling to Kadiköy for a derby match against our cross-town rival Fenerbahçe. It has always been difficult to predict the outcome of these derbies, and this one is no different. We want to show everyone that we are real contender this season. If we can execute our game plan properly, we can beat them on their home ground like we’ve done many times in the past. I sustained a slight knee injury but I wouldn’t want to sit out that game.”            
Guti Hernandez: “It was a hard-fought battle from start to finish for us, but we managed to see them off in the end. I have always took part in the Champions League, playing in Europea League is a totally brand new experience for me so, at times, I felt like a newcomer. The poor pitch made ball control real difficult tonight, hampering our performance seriously out there, but we must get use to this pitch soon because we are stuck with it until the end of the season. The fans were great and never stopped urging us on throughout the entire match, they deserve the best. I’ll try my best to win every available title for them this year.”
Ricardo Quaresma: “It was not easy to crack open their dogged defence, definitely one of the best I’ve seen here so far. To turn the game around, I did my best out there. I am happy that we won in the end because we were surely all over them in the second half and deserved to win more than they did. I am up and ready for our upcoming match against Fenerbahçe on Sunday. I am player who likes derby contests more than anything else. Let’s and see.”
