Beşiktaş Manager Bernhard Schuster addressed the Media after his team’s 1-0 triumph over the Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia:
“I think CSKA played great defence for the entire match. We tried everything but couldn’t break them earlier. As a team, we played much better in the second half and took complete control. The entry of Quaresma and Bobo surely added to our scoring punch, but I think our overall determination and desire to win brought us the three points tonight. We did not start with Quaresma and Bobo because they both had slight injuries. I was planning to use them in the last 30 minutes in any ways.Hilbert and Holosko, who replaced them, also did their jobs but they could’ve been more productive upfront, especially in the first half. The same goes for Tabata but I am confidant that they will all get much better in the weeks to come.
Now, we are looking forward towards our League match against arch-rival Fenerbahçe this weekend. They are a tough team to beat on their home turf. However, we are not scared off any team; we’ll go out there to win.”
