Beşiktaş 4- 0 Ankaragücü

With goals from Bobo (27’, 67’), İbrahim Toraman (67’) and Nobre (75’), Beşiktaş ripped visitors MKE Ankaragücü apart 4-0 on Day 4 of the Turkish Sport Toto Super League.

The match at the BJK Inonu Stadium was refereed by Mustafa Kamil Abitoğlu. On the third day of the Aid, thousands of loyal Eagles fans came out to fill the stands completely and cheered their favourite team on until the final whistle.

All the early pressure came from the Black and White with long-range efforts from outside the box. While the Capital City team failed to get anything going offensively, Bobo put the home side in front after 29 minutes to finish off a well-executed Beşiktaş attack. The Eagles would take that one-goal lead into the break.
Beşiktaş looked more threatening in the second half as Bobo hit the crossbar with a fierce strike on 58 minutes. Determined to score more goals, German Manager Schuster brought on Tabata for Nihat Kahveci in the 59th minute, and two minutes later, İbrahim Toraman would redirect the Brazilian’s shot to make it 2-0 for the Eagles. Then, at the 67th-minute mark, Bobo claimed his second of the match following a superb give-and-go with Guti that left him face-to-face with the helpless Ankaragücü keeper. Recently signed, Brazilian-descent Turkish International Mehmet Aurelio replaced Necip Uysal 20 minutes before the end for his debut as an Eagle. After Holosko replaced Bobo in the 75th minute, another Brazilian Nobre took the centre stage and headed in Tabata’s brilliant cross to leave the final score 4-0 to Beşiktaş.
