The children without a proper home or family took part in pre-match ceremony before taking their reserved seats to watch Beşiktaş and Ankaragücü battle it out.
Through the contributions of Beşiktaş Vice-Chairman and Head of Advisory Boards Erdoğan Toprak and the Beşiktaş Women, Family and children Advisory Committee, 40 homeless children from various towns of Istanbul and Sakarya City were brought to the Inonu Stadium and given free tickets to the game. 23 of these children walked hand in hand with both team’s players in a pre-kickoff ceremony. They then joined the rest in the stands to enjoy the game.Before coming to the game, the children were given free-meal at the Fulya Burger King in a special event organized by Beşiktaş General Manager Murat Ülgen and Media and Communications Coordinator Gökhan Dinç. The homeless children also received various gifts from Beşiktaş Eagle’s Nest Store.
