After the game, Beşiktaş Manager Bernhard Schuster commented on his team’s performance: 

“We were planning to take the game to Bucaspor right from the start, and it was nice to see my players fulfil their obligations in that regard. We wasted couple of good chances in the first half, but we made up for them at the start of the second half. That goal took the pressure off us and enabled us to play with more confidence. We could’ve scored more goals along the way, but, we were a little bit careless.  In general, I am satisfied with the result and our overall performance. My players took this match seriously and stuck to our game plan until it was over. My congratulations go to each one of them. They showed their true colours tonight.”
