In a post-match press conference after his squad’s 3-0 win over Viktoria Plezen, Beşiktaş Manager Bernhard Schuster was quoted as saying:

“We managed to execute our game plan successfully in this one; so it was a fairly healthy win for us. As you’ve all witnessed, everyone played their hearts out. We are still missing a couple of key players, but we will be ready by the start of the league. Holosko and Quaresma were both great tonight. I hope they can repeat this performance in every game we play. At times, we looked a bit slow and disorganized out there, but no one should worry; we will improve as the season moves along. I’ve never seen such passionate and boisterous fans in my life before. In one word, they were amazing. But my players battled hard to deserve their applause tonight.”     
Schuster ended his comments by thanking the press in Turkish.
