Draw for the Champions League preliminary round was held at the Headquarters of European Handball Federation (EHF) in Vienna today and the Eagles were pitted against Tatran Presov of Slovakia, Drammen HK of Norway and A1 Bregenz of Austria. 

The one-leg group stage will take place between September 3 and 5. The Black and Whites will play back-to-back matches with A1 Bregenz, Tatran Presov and Drammen HK. The venues of the matches are to be announced in July.

The top two teams will earn the right to compete in the Champions League while the last two continue their European campaign in the EHF Cup.
