Beşiktaş’s veteran goalkeeper Rüştü Reçber received congratulatory letter from Turkish Olympic Committee.

The award ceremony organized by the Turkish Olympic Committes at the Ataköy Olympic House was attended by the Head of Committee Togay Bayatlı and numerous distinguished sports celebrities. At the end of the evening, awards in the fields of “fair-play,” “attitude,” “career,” and “promotion” found their owners.
Turkish 10,000m women’s runner Elvan Abeylegesse who gave her spare shoes to her Ethiopian rival Meselech Melkamu who left her own shoes at the hotel won the “fair-play” award while our keeper Rüştü Reçber was honored with a congratulatory letter.
 As you would all recall, during the match between Beşiktaş and Denizlispor, Rüstü Reçber turned an out call into a corner-kick by warning the referee that he last touched the ball before it went out of bounds
