After the winning the national title, Handball Team’s Manager Müfit Arın, his assistant İlker Şentürk and players Utku Ergüder and Gökhan Aksu shared their thoughts with the press.

Müfit Arın: After a ten-month of tiring and extremely competitive period, we’ve achieved our final objective and it feels real good. Since we’ve also won the Turkish Cup, with this league title we’ve made it a double.  I thank all my players for their season-long outstanding performance that made all these possible. They believed in themselves and wanted this championship more than the others.
İlker Şentürk: Our players have shown great self-sacrifice all year around and never missed a practice. They worked hard day in and day out and deserved to come this far. We stuck to our game-plan and never lost concentration until the end. I congratulate each one of them including their families. They’ve made us proud today on more time.
Utku Ergüder: Without our fans we wouldn’t be able to win this match. When we were exhausted or down, they gave us the motivation we needed with their cheering. We made a slow start but eventually managed to get back into the game. Our opponent stayed with us until the end, so they also deserve a lot of respect.  We dedicate this title to all our fans who believed in us from the first day of the season.
Gökhan Aksu: At the time of signing our contracts, we’d all promised that we would win both titles this season just like we did the previous year. Today, we kept that promise. As long as we play like this, no one is going to take those titles away from us. We will remain a powerful force in Turkish Handball for many years to come.
