In a Week 17 game that turned out to be a battle of this season’s giants, Galatasaray Wheelchair Basketball scraped past the visiting Eagles, 76-71, at the Ahmet Cömert Sports Hall.

After trailing 23-16 by the end of first, the Black and White reorganized in the second to bring the deficit down to three, 40-37, at the half. Beşiktaş outscored its arch-rival 18-17 in the third and was down by only two points, 57-55, heading into fourth quarter.  The home team successfully fended off all Beşiktaş comeback attempts in the final quarter to eke out a 76-71 win. 
The Black and White is scheduled to play Istanbul Disabled Stars in its final regular season game.
